CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES DEFEAT OF G. MARTIN With players contending for the right to enter the final rounds, badminton of a high standard was witnessed at the Colonial Motor Company's Building, Sehvyn Terrace, last evening, whore tho provincial championships were continued. One of tho surprises of the evening was the heavy defeat inflicted on G. Martin, a previous title-holder, by I. Ellott. R. Lewis, Waikato title-holder, was fully extended by P. Anderson, who has rarely been seen to such advantago. M. T. Wilson entered the semi-finals with a win over R. Hull. H. Fow won. in straight games from .H. a.
