SOCIAL EVENING
The Society of Master Ladies' Hairdriers held their first social evening in the Overseas League rooms on Alondfty night. 4n enjoyable entertainment had been arranged, comprising vocal solos by Mrs. K. Jacobsen. Aliss Una Goldsmith, Air. AleMichaol and Air. Lou Paul, and pianoforte solos by Air. C, Allis. Tho accompanist was Mr. Harrington. Tho president, Aliss Al. Alartin, welcomed tho gathering. Community singing and Scottish anecdotes provided further enjoyment, Tho arrangements for tho evening wero carried out by tho executive committee.
