POWER BOARD MEMBERSHIP ELECTORAL DISTRICT CHANGES [by telegraph—own correspondent] TE AROHA, Friday Reporting on a conference held between representatives of the Thames Valley Electric-Power Board and tho Tc Aroha Borough Council, the Mayor, Mr. R. Coulter, M.P., said at a meeting of the council that the Power Board had suggested that Te Aroha should waive its right to a representative on tho board, and combine with Thames in having a joint representative. This was to allow the borough of Waihi to be represented. The To Aroha delegates, said . Mr. Coulter, refused to agree to that, as there was no community of interest between Thames and To Aroha, and Te Aroha could bo out-voted by the larger population of Thames.
