EVENING OF DRAMA Three one-act plays, "Five Characters in Search of a Change," "The Girl from the Hall" and "The Playgoers," wero, produced by the Mummers branch of the Tauranga Drama League, and gave much enjoyment to the largo audience. Those taking part in the plays were Mrs. F. Dickinson, Mrs. Rowsell, Mrs. •C. B. Read, Mrs. Clougher, Mrs. Skinner, Mrs. K. Gifford, Mrs. Milson, Miss 0. Sinedley, Miss A. Trundle, Misses E. and N. Keam and Miss H. Wood. In the audience were: —Mesdamcs Christian, Butts, H. P. Bryan, E. T. Baker, C. Adams, Smedley, A. Turner, P. Nicholls (Christchurch), M. P. Munro, R. Morpeth, Vingoe, C. Tilby, Mann, A. Dickson, Castaing, D. Clark, Bent, J. Tanner, T. Moncur, Sheriff, Misses A. Mark, Gillanders (2), K. Turner, A. Brad more, McQueen, J. Burnett, A. Willcock, B. Sheriff, J. Brook and J. Baker. Mrs. Langlands, of Claudolands, Hamilton, is spending the school holidays nt Mount Maunganui. Mrs. Lionel Crowley, of Sixth Avenue, is visiting Rotorua.
