SCHOOL JUBILEE
GRAFTON CELEBRATIONS Plans for the celebration of the diamond jubilee of the Grafton School were advanced at a meeting this week. Replies have already been received from 900 past pupils in all parts of the Dominion and a successful jubilee is expected. The celebrations will commence with the annual children's fancy dress party on Wednesday, October 27. On the following evening there will be a combined .social and dance. The official part of the celebrations will be held at the school on the Friday afternoon and. on the Saturday evening, there will be a reunion of past pupils. A service will be held at the sdhool on the Sunday afternoon. A committee comprising Messrs. J. Carlaw, W. J. Edward, C. Hewson, S. Milne, J. B. Patterson and Miss S. C. Burton was set up.
