ASSOCIATION GAME
MEDAL COMPETITION TO-MORROWS ATTRACTIONS The fourth series of matches in the modal round of the Auckland Football Association will be decided to-morrow, and, if the standard revealed last Saturday is maintained, some bright contests can be anticipated. Acting on its recent decision, the control board has arranged only one match at Blandford Park, where Thistle will meet Abels at 3 p.m. Thistle, which dropped two points to North Shore last Saturday, will be keen to make amends to-mor-row, but it should meet with strong opposition from the Abels side. North Shore, the leaders in the competition, will contest the points with Mount Albert Grnmmar 01(1 Boys at Devonport. Mount Albert has a recent victory to its credit over North Shore in the Falcon Cup competition, but if the latter side shows the form it revealed against Thistle it should not experience much difficulty in taking the points. Another fast and interesting struggle should result at "Western Springs, where Comrades will play Ponsonby. Lower grade competitions will be continued. Following are the teams:— NORTH SHORE First Division.—Cameron, Cronan, West, Sale, Corbett, Chambers, Blackie, Stevenson, Tidroan, Haydon, Sime, Gerrard. Second Division.—Moor, Moorcroft, Kimber, Badlan, James, V. Smith, McGowan, T. Smith, Haycock, Waters. T. Ekman, McComb.
