UNITY CLUB'S SEASON A successful season was shown by the report and balance-sheet presented at. the annual meeting of the Unity Tennis Club. The president, Mr .T. S. T. Tudeliope, presided over a good attendance. A number or applications for membership was received, and tho opening date was fixed for October '2. The following officers were elected for the ensuing years— Patron, Mr. H. T. Tudeliope; president, Mr. j. S. T. Tudeliope; secretary, Miss R. Tibbits; treasurer, Mr. G. Panckhurst; vicecaptain, Mr. L. Marshall; committee, Mrs. Panckhurst. Miss A. Pryce, Messrs. L. Marshall, .T. TTackett and R. Laurie. A doubling of the membership and a strong financial position wore disclosed at. the annual meeting of the Manse Street Tennis Club last evening. The membership has reached Iho maximum the club can tako and has been closed. It was decided to open on October 11. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr. W. Jones; president. Rev. \V. Elliott; vice-president, Mr. 0. Stokes; secretary, Miss K. Pickmere; treasurer. Miss K. Sands; tea convener, Mrs. W. Massey; church representative, Mr. P. S. N, Council; committee, Mr. and Mrs. Wliimp unci Miss I. Hopo.
