THAMES LIGHTING PLAN

THAMES, Thursday The Thames Borough Council advised the Thames Chamber of Commerce yeslerday that the cost of community hghting for the biisiness area could be reduced if 20 more consumers linked up with the present scheme. Hie president, Mr. R. S. Hethering•toi, said that already 10 new consumers had notified their intention of join£g up. It was decided that a canvass 150 made to obtain another 10 con**miers. The reduced cliargo will bo £2 lus per light per annum instead of £3.
