THIRD TEST MATCH EDEN PARK GROUND GRANDSTAND FULLY BOOKED ALLOCATION OF SEATS The announcement of the Auckland Rugby Union that the scats in tho mam grandstand for tho third test match between tho All Blacks and Springboks at Eden Park on September 25 liavo been fully booked, has caused disappointment among the holders of coupons which have been issued each Saturday in the official programmes of the union. Coupon holders and tho general public will now have the opportunity of buying tickets for the auxiliary stand and tho main grandstand and oval enclosures. In explaining- the situation, Mr. A. A. Baker, chairman of the management committee of the Auckland Rugby "Union, stated yesterday that all available seats in the main grandstand had been directly allocated through Auckland clubs, sub-unions under the jurisdiction of the Auckland union and affiliated and neighbouring unions. " There are only 1475 seats in the main grandstand," said Mr. Baker, " and approximately 900 of these have been sold to clubs, affiliated unions and sub-unions. There are three sub-unions, Thames, Kaipara and South Auckland, under the jurisdiction of the Auckland Union. Neighbouring unions to which tickets have been allocated are North Auckland. Thames Valley, Bay of Plenty, King Country, East Coast, Waikato and Povertv Bay. In addition the Referees' Association, Secondary and Primary Schools' Unions, jujtior management and junior boys' committees have been catered for. " therefore be seen that it was an eaiv matter to fill the main grandstand. The demand for seats has been so great that an additional auxiliary stand will probably'.be built for officials from southern unions. No final decision has yet been made as to the position of the auxiliary stand." Mr. Baker said that bookings for coupon holders would open next Monday and for the general public next Tuesday. The prices for seats for the test match are as follows: —Main grandstand, £1; auxiliary stand, 12s bd; grandstand enclosure, 10s; oval enclosure, 7s 6d; admission to ground, 2s 6d. Tho admission price to the schoolboys' enclosure will probably be Is.
