TWICE INTERRUPTED

HEARING OF DAMAGES CLAIM JUROR TEMPORARILY UNWELL [by telegraph—own correspondent] PALMERSTON NORTH, Wednesday Fate appeared determined to interfere with the course of justice in the Supreme Court at Palmerston North to-day. The Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, was hearing a claim for dainin consequence of a motor collision and the proceedings were for the second time summarily baited becauso of .an! unusual development. Following upon a full day's hearing of evidence, the case was nearing conclusion .at the previous hearing when ft was discovered that a member of the jury engaged was a son-in-law of one of the principal witnesses, who was a nephew of the plaintiff.
