Captain W. Oliver, formerly in charge of the cable ship Recorder, having completed furlough in England, is now in command of the cable ship Cambria, which has its base at Plymouth. The ship is at present on cable repair work in the West Indies.

Captain L. Vaughan Morgan, -who is ■well known in New Zealand as 8 former Second Naval Member of the Naval Boiird, on his return recently to England, took up his first command as a captain. He succeeded Captain H. M. Borrough, of H.M.S. Exmouth, in command of the stli Destroyer Flotilla of the Home Fleet.
