DIPHTHERIA OUTBREAK
TWELVE FRANKTON CASES ALL PATIENTS RECOVERING [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday Eleven cases of diphtheria occurred at Frankton during June, and one was reported yesterday. Four members of one family, three members of another family, and two members of a third family were affected, the patients including several adults. The cases occurred within the drainage area, and in several instances were a considerable distance apart. No reason has been assigned for the outbreak. All the patients are recovering, and two have been discharged from hospital.
