The track was dry and fast. In spite of the very large fields, the starting was good. The totalisator handled £17,982 10s, made up as follows:- —Win machine (7.5-25), £9715 10s; place machine, £8267, against £BI3B 10s (win), and £5608 10s (place) last year, a total of £13,746 10s, making an increase of £4236.
