0 POT IKI ASSOCIATION [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN OPOTIKI, Sunday There was a large attendance at the annual meeting of the Opotiki Boxing Aselation. Tho president, Mr. T. G. Johnson, stated that the standard of amateur boxing in Opotiki was as good as ho had seen anywhere and the season's activities had been very successful. It was decided to hold two tourneys during tho season. Tho election of officers resulted:—Patron, Mr. G. S. Moody; president, Mr. T. G. Johnson; deputy-president, Mr. H. Larmer; vicepresidents, Messrs" S. M. Jephson, J. Mansell, W. Stevens, 11. Parkinson, C. Tabb, J. O'Sullivan; secretary, Mr. T. Hickey; treasurer, Mr. Hill; committee, Messrs. Jephson, Mansel], 11.
