EASTER TOURNAMENT FIRST-YEAR PLAYERS' FOURS BALMORAL AND RAWHITI The first-year players' fours section of the Auckland Bowling Centre's Easter tournament, which had to be abandoned on account of bad weather, was continued on Saturday, when five further rounds of seven heads were decided at the Carlton Club's green. The section play resulted in a tie between Meredith (Balmoral) and Butler (Rawhiti), who scored seven wins each, but, as Balmoral had one game fewer than Rawhiti, a final match will he played at the Carlton Club's green next Saturday at 2 p.m. in order to find the section winner.
