Fine weather prevailed, and there was a large attendance. The programme consisted of chopping, horse events and weight judging competitions. KIWITAHI CLUB [FROM OUIt OWN COKItKSPONDKKT] MORRINSVILLE. Sunday Tho Kiwitahl Sports Club held its annual sports meeting yesterday at Messrs. McDonald Brothers' property, about seven miles from Morrinsvillo. About 1000 people were present. Chief interest centred in the mounted events, which attracted entries of leading show ring horses of tlie Waikato. The open hunter competition was won by Mr. JR. 11. Townsend's Windsor Lad, a horse that has been raced with success in jumping events in recent years. Mrs. J. M. Allen, ot Morrinsville, was the winner of the local hunter event with her horse Cara. Mr., J. K. Ranstcad's Right Royal won the ladies hack 6U The events for children's ponies attracted large entries, find pony events were in progress all day in a special ring.
