COLLEGE OF SURGEONS

[ OPENING OF CONFERENCE DELEGATES FROM AUSTRALIA Scientific meetings, including clinical demonstrations and lectures at the Auckland Hospital and the Auckland University College, will form the bulk of the agenda prepared for the tenth annual meeting of the Rov,al Australasian College of Surgeons, which opens to-morrow night and will conclude on Saturday. Over 120 members are expected to attend. Practically all the Australian members will arrive by the Awatea this afternoon. Delegates to the science congress, as well as those who will attend the surgeons' conference, have been invited to attend a garden party at Government House to-njorrow afternoon. The Mayor, Mr. Ernest Davis, and Mrs. Davis will be the hosts. The GovernorGeneral, Viscount Galway, will preside over the inaugural meeting of the college, which will be held at the lown Hall to-niorrow night.
