ANOTHER DISMISSAL

DOCKYARD WORKER MEN APPLY FOR RELIEF PROBLEM FOR ADMIRALTY (Received January 15, 6.20 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 14 The Daily Mail says it understands that another man has been discharged from the Devonport Naval Dockyard at the instance of the Admiralty. Four of those dismissed earlier applied for the unemployment benefit; at a Plymouth labour exchange, the officials of which, in accordance with routine urocedure, have written to the Admiralty for an explanation of the dismissals.

The reason must be communicated to the men if it is of a nature to preclude them from receiving the benefit so that they will be able to appeal to the Court of Referees'.
