THE MINING MARKET DECLINE IN MARTHAS WAIHI INVESTMENT RISE In the first' sale since the holiday period, Marthas dropped 3d to 19s 9d in tho mining market on tho Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. Waihi Investments moved up 4Jd to 13s. Lords for Placer Development were lifted 6s 6d in dealing at £5 4s, whilo Golden Crowns were released 9d cheaper at ss. Closing quotations wero:—
