THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE - advance in pastorals Firmuoss- in pastorals again was a feature of dealing on the Auckland gtock Exchange yesterday. Loan and Jlercantilcs look another sharp advance in a sale at £4O, a full gain of 655. Goldsbrqugh-Morts also moved up, rising 4d in dealing at 38s. Reflecting the recent improved tone jn Government loans, the 1952-55 4 per cent bonds changed hands 20s in advance at £lO2 15s. Among tho hanking issues, New South Wales were lifted 5s in a transfer at £.15 15s. New Zealands wero steady. South British Insurances eased slightly, dropping 3d to 955. Dominion Investments were released Is 9d cheaper at 15s 9(1. Electrolytic Zincs again moved up, gaining 2s 3d in dealing at 56s 6d. Farmers' Trading wore strong, and business passed 9d in advance at 225. Broken Hills eased and changed hands 3d lower at 82s 6d. After a current level sale, G. J. Coles were Is cheaper at 97s 9d in an ox dividend transaction. Northern Roller Milling shares were firm, the ordinary issue gaining 9d to 21s 6d, while the preferences sold twico 6d dearer at 225.
