TURKISH FLEET
OFFICIAL VISIT TO MALTA BRITISH NAVAL ESCORT ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMME (Received November 22, 5.5 p.m.) British Wireless RUGBY, Nov. 31 The Turkish Fleet under the command of Admiral Shukur Okan entered Malta harbour this morning on the first official visit it has paid to a foreign naval station since the Armistice. Admiral Okan's flag .was flying on the battle-cruiser Sultan Selim. The Turkish vessels were escorted into the harbour by the British flotilla leader Codrington and four destroyers. A full programme of entertainment has been arranged for the visiting officers, 100 of whom have been invited to visit | the aircraft-carrier Glorious on Wednesi day to witness flying exercises.
