DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS

OMISSIONS FROM PAPERS ADVICE GIVEN TO COUNSEL [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday Several delays occurred in connection with divorce proceedings heard in the Hamilton Supreme Court to-day through the documents not being in order. In two cases the domicile of the parties was not stated, and His Honor, Mr. Justice Callan, said the omission affected the question of jurisdiction. If the divorces as the papers stood were granted they would have no efleet outsi do New Zealand, whereas with the papers in order, the divorces would be recognised throughout the civilised world.
