four cases heard DECREES GRANTED BY COURT Four undefended petitions for divorce were heard by Mr. Justice Smith in the Supreme Court yesterday. A decree nisi was granted to Hindu May Pussell (Mr. Sullivan) against Frank Dicker Russell, on the ground of adultery. Petitioner said the marriage took place in Tasmania in 1914 and she canie to New Zealand with her husband 11 years a&o. There were three children. She bacame suspicious, and with a private detective followed her husband and obtained evidence of adultery. Petitioner was granted interim custody of the children.
Separation was advanced by Zelma Unit a Bealc (Mr. Winter) as the ground for her petition against George de Breon Heale. The parties were married in 1924, but in 1931 felt they could not get- on when living together and separated. I here was one child. A decree nisi was granted. His Honor said lie would grant a decree nisi, on service of an affidavit, to Mary Elaine Drabble (Mr. Spring), ■who said she married her husband, Frederick Layno Drabhle, in 1919. There were three children. In 1929 they were to come to Auckland, but respondent said he had a position with the Public Works Department in Gisborne and petitioner came alone. She did not hear from respondent and put the matter in the hands of the police, who located him in Taranaki. An order for maintenance was made, but there was a large amount of arrears and several actions had been brought. 1 otitioner was granted custody of the children. On the ground of failure to comply with an order for restitution of conjugal rights, .James Audinwood Simeon (Mr. Hobinson), was granted a decree nisi against Evelyn Constance Simeon.
