DAIRY COWS KILLED
STRUCK BY MOTOR-TRUCK SEVERAL OF HERD INJURED [by telegraph OWN* correspondent] OPOTIKI, Monday A heavy motor-truck owned by the Opotiki County Council crashed into a dairy herd at Kukumoa, near Opotiki, on. the Opotiki-Whakatane main highway. A number of the cows, -which are owned by Mr. J. E. Cooper, were killed and others were injured.
