THAMES VALLEY CLUB OPENING FIELD DAY [by telegraph OWN correspondent] PAEROA, Wednesday The :lnitial field day of the 1936-37 season was held by the Thames Valley Jersey Breeders' Club at Mr. W. Muir's property, Waihi, on Saturday, there being a good muster of breeders and other interested farmers. Several pedigree cattle were tethered by Mr. Muir for inspection, the demonstrator being Mr. G. Buchanan, of Paeroa. The j u<iging competition resulted as follows: —Mr. H. W. Edwards, Waihi, 28£ points of error in 600, 1; Mr. W. H. Cheale, Paeroa, 39 points, 2; Mrs. K. M. Jones, Golden Valley, 39£ points, 3; Mr. F. J. Sexton, Paeroa, 46 points, 4.
