On tho plough Jnvor and Palamito ran six furlongs in 1.18 3-5. lnver was given a start of a couple of lengths and just beat Palamito. Nun Nicer, from a stand, ran tho same distance in 1.20 3-5.

Kurapao finished his work with a fast run over threo furlongs in 41 2rss. Surolla covered six furlongs in 1.19. Merry Lap, Lord Willonyx and .Benighted did useful work. On the grass Warwick Lad was going better than the Drolatiquo filly over live furlongs in 1.6. Wait and Soo ran six furlongs in 1.23, being joined at the threo by a Lysander gelding, who is a good-looking gelding. Dutiful and Yerrapie, after running their first two in 255, completed fivo furlongs in 1.4 4-5. It was a good piece of work. Lornacrc, accompanied over the first fivo by Royal Mistake, completed six furlongs in 1.21, the first half-mile in 5-lJs, and the last five furlongs in 1.8. Trilliareh showed a fine turn of speed in brushing over three furlongs in 36 2-os. Racelino and a Surveyor colt finished several lengths behind him. Penzance finished in front of Cappy and Trouvaille over half-a-mile in 50 4-os, the first three furlongs boiug covered in 365.

NEW PLYMOUTH TRACK AUSSIE RA IN GOOD SHAPE [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] NEW rLYMOUTH, Tuesday With the approach of the Trentham and Waverley meetings, the New Plymouth track bore a busy appearandthis morning. The tracks were in good order and fast work took place on the course proper, with flags out about 40 feet. Royal Secret covered six furlongs the reverse way in 1.25. She was going comfortably throughout and may contest the Flying Handicap in preference to the Shorts Handicap at Ellerslie on Saturday.
