TRAWLER GIRL PAT

' LONDON, Sept 2 Captain Osborne, of the Grimsby trawler Girl Pat, and his brother, arrived in England to-day from Georgetown, 'British Guiana. They were handed over to Scotland Yard officers and later were remanded until September 9 on £SOO bail each. The men were charged with complicity ,/in stealing the Girl Pat, the property of the Marstrand Shipping Company, from British waters.
The Girl Pat left Dover on April 4 and disappeared after calling at Corcobion, Spain, for repairs. Tho owners surmised that she had been seized by her master and crow, and in May Lloyd's agents throughout the world were instructed to keep a lookout for the,-vessel. Finally, after several reports had been received concerning her movements, she was identified on June 19 off Georgetown, British Guiana, on tho east coast of South America. After a chase the .vessel was captured on the following day by armed police on board a pursuit boat. It was stated later by a director of the Marstrand Fishing Company that no legal action would be taken against tbe crew.
