RECENT ATLANTIC TRIPS - ~ i t_ CONGRATULATION FROM KING British Wireless RUGBY, Sept. 2 "Telegrams of congratulation from King Edward to the chairman of the Cunard-White Star Line on the recent record jcrossings of the Atlantic by the liner Queen Mary were read to-day to the Chip's company when they mustered before the vessel's departure from Southampton to New York.

The company, at a nfeeting in London to-day, made financial arrangements for the building of a new mail vessel of the Stirling Castle type, and for putting new engines in five other Castle liners.
