"NEW MOON"
A MUSICAL ROMANCE The special arrangements being made for the booking of subscribers are announced by the Auckland Amateur Operatic Society, which is presenting the musical ronianeo "Now Moon' for u short season at His Majesty's Theatre, commencing on Friday. September 11. The play, which is to bo interpreted by the strongest cast assembled by the society for manv years, is noteworthy for the beauty of its many musical numbers and for'the spectacular nature of its eleven beautiful scenes. A new note is introduced in the ballets, which are featured and which, it is considered, set a now standard in stage dancing. The ballets show the vary latest trends abroad and their presentation will be an outstanding part of the production. With the exception of the ballet costumes, the costumes and the scenery have been imported specially from Melbourne and are as used in the original production in Sydney and Melbourne.
