ANNUAL GOLF BALL

THE WAITEMATA CLUB Tlin 17th annual ball of the Waitcniata Golf Club, which was held at the Masonic Hall, Devonport, on Saturday night, was a very popular and successful function, lhe hall was attractively decorated in the club colours, green and gold. Streamers in these colours cascaded from the ceiling to the walls, and the stage was arranged with huge bowls of arum lilies and bamboo. Green and gold streamers also decorated the supper room, where the tables were adorned with vases of daffodils, Iceland poppies and asparagus fern. lhe guests were received by the ladies' captain, Mrs. Carl Prime, who wore a frock and coatee of cobalt blue chiilon velvet relieved with silver fox fur.
