TAKAPUNA RUGBY CLUB
MONTHLY DANCE HELD The monthly dance organised by the social committee of the Takapuna Rugby Football Club was held in the Takapuna Boating Club hall at Bayswater on Saturday night. The hall was decorated with streamers in the club colours, blue and gold, and large tubs of wattle were arranged on the stage, fn the supper room the tables were adorned with vases of spring flowers and fern. During the evening two presentations were made. 31rs. A. Seaman presented the club with a mascot and the president, 31r. F. E. Sutherland, presented the honorary secretary, 31r. 31ason Foreman, who has lately been married, with a standard lamp. A Monte Carlo was won by 31r. and Mrs. Mason Foreman.
The ladies' committee comprised Airs. A. J. Jensen, who wore a frock of black Ohantilly lace; Airs. C. Cherney, floral georgette; and Aliss Yarnton, ice-bluo georgette.
