CAUGHT BY HAWSER
MAN'S THIGH BROKEN ACCIDENT IN BUSH Caught by a wire hawser and thrown a considerable distance when he was helping to haul logs in bush near Thames last week, Mr. Charles de Thierry, aged 23, married, of Kaiaua, suffered a broken left thigh. He was admitted to the Thames Hospital, but was transferred to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance yesterday.
