NEW ZEALANDERS' CLUB
An evening in aid of tho jubilee fund was given by the New Zealanders' Club of (lie Young Women's Christian Association. The stage was decorated with flax and a replica of a Maori whare. Mrs. If. Trevelvan King related some romantic and beautiful Maori legends and rendered several Maori songs. Mrs. Johnson's troupe of Maori vouths and maidens cave a liaka of welcome, also several Maori love songs and lullabies. A trio cotnnrising Messrs. Sanft. Winiata and Keepa sang a Tongan love song, "Alua," with sfeel guitar accompaniment, and Mr. Bert Skeel's vocal solos were much appreciated. Games and dancing were enjoyed.
