CALSHOT AND NGATIRAHIRI MORE HORSES FOR H. GRAY [from our owx correspondent] NEW PLYMOUTH, Saturday Although 011 the heavy side, th<> tracks at New Plymouth were in good order for training operations this morning. Galloping took place on the course proper, the flags being out about 40ft. Calshot and Ngatirahiri were always going comfortably over six furlongs, the last five occupying 1.11. They are in excellent order for Trentham. High Test was given pace-work on the inside. He lightened up after Wanganui, and his trip to Trentham has been abandoned. Fersen and Brilliancy hit out freely over half a.mile in 55{s. They ran the first two furlongs in 26Js, and were not pushed at the finish. .Script jumped the hurdle in front of the stands twice, giving an encouraging display for a novice. H. Gray's team will receive three additions next week. A rising three-year-old by Captain Bunsby will arrive during the week-end and two more of the same age by Bronze Eagle are coming from Auckland. The latter pair belong to Mr. Guy Ring. One is out of a full-sister to the good horse To Monanui.
