MISHAP AT HOKITIKA CREW OF THREE SAFE [ lIV TKLF.CII A I'll —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] HOKITIKA, Thursday A fishing- vessel, the Tinri Anani, wliieh went to sea on Tuesday morning. broke tlie cranking handle in tho afternoon, and tho vessel remained at sea. This morning an attempt was made to sail over the bar, but the wind fell and the vessel drifted into the breakers, washing ashore half a mile northward. The crew of three are safe, but had been short of food and water while aboard tho vessel.
