ANGLERS AT LAKE TAUPO GOOD CATCHES IN RIVER [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] TAUPO, Monday A number of anglers visited Taupo for tho final fishing of the season which closed yesterday. Although the weather was beautifully fine, conditions were not of the best for fishing, and poor catches were made on the lake. As is usual at this time of the year, better fishing was had in the streams and satisfactory catches were obtained in the evening in the Waikato River and Waitahanui Strcpm.
