MT. ALBERT CROQUET CLUB
A very pleasant time was spent on the Mount Albert croquet lawns on Thursday, when the president, Mrs. Forsyth, entertained the members, honorary members and friends. Progressive croquet was played, the winners being:—A, Mrs. Maxwell, Mrs. McKay and Mrs. Keesing; B, Mrs. Hicks, Mrs. Curtis and Mrs. Seccombe. Mrs. Forsyth and Mrs. McGill were the i*ecipients of bouquets in red and gold (the club colours). Among those present were:—Mrs. McGill (president of the Auckland Croquet Association), Mrs. Keesing (secretary of the Auckland Croquet Association), Mrs. F. J. Smith, Mrs. T. Maxwell, Mrs. L. Windsor, Mrs. W. Curtis, Mrs. E. Morton, Mrs. W. J. McKay, Mrs. E. Robertson, Sirs. A. Angus, Mrs. J. A. Robertson, Mrs. C. R. Cuthbert, Mrs. H. Potter, Mrs. T. Raker. Mrs. H. Hawke, Mrs. D. Henry, Mrs. F. G. Hosking, Mrs. W. Hicks, Mrs. J. E. James, Mrs. H. Lowe, Mrs. Percy, Mrs. W. Thorp, Mrs. C. Stuart, Sirs. R. Thomas, Mrs. L. Townley, Mrs. L. Whitfield, Mrs. A. Woodward, Mrs. Willey, Mrs. Seccombe, Miss J. Lam bo, Miss A. Han lon. Mrs. McGill, on behalf of the visitors, thanked Mrs. Forsyth for the club's hospitality, and Mrs. Smith, vice-pre-sident of the club, spoke on behalf of the members.
