WOMAN'S DEATH
INQUEST ADJOURNED The inquest into the death of Mrs. Jane Costar, aged 56, who was found on Saturday morning lying on the bathroom floor of a small house at Huia, where she was employed as a housekeeper for Mr. Cornelius Bartholomew, was opened yesterday before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., coroner. Detective Allsopp represented the police. Edward Charles Costar, aged 66, gave evidence of identification. He said that he had been separated from his wife for seven years and had not seen her for Bix years. They were married in Auckland in 1906. There were no children of the marriage. The inquest was adjourned sine die.
