CAMPAIGN IN AMERICA SCHOOL ESSAYS AND RADIO [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Monday The New Zealand Trade and Tourist Commissioner in Los Angeles has been conducting a special publicity campaign among educational organisations throughout the Western United States. The TQurist and Publicity Department has received a cablegram from him stating that the American teachers' national magazine. The Instructor, publishes in its May issue the prize essays of 1935, the subject being "New Zealand and Australia." As a result of this and of radio broadcasts, the commissioner states he has received 500 requests from Americans desirous of corresponding with New Zealanders, either adults or children.
