Mount Lyells sold 3d dearer at 2os, but Mount Morgans, after a current-price sale at 16s 3d, gave way Id. Placer Developments were done at £o 17s. Marthas made further headway on the levels, sellers quoting 6d more at 20s 9cl to offers 8d higher at 20s 6d. Lyell .. . . 14 9 20 5 JAPANESE RAYON CURTAILMENT OF OUTPUT TOKIO, April 26 The Rayon Manufacturers' Association, forestalling possible over-produc-tion owing to Australian and other foreign agitation, will enforce on May 1 a scheme limiting mill expansion to projects under way and curtailing the output from new spindles, thus maintaining the equilibrium between supply and demand. NEW ZEALAND APPLES FIRM LONDON MARKET LONDON, April 26 Fruit is firm and in good demand.
