LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDERLAND TAKES HONOURS TWO TEAMS RELEGATED (Received April 26, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, April 26 The Soccer season has practically ended, and Sunderland has won the league championship with 56 points. Aston Villa, which spent £40,000 on transfer fees for new players in an effort to retain its position in the first division, and Blackburn Rovers have both been relegated to the second division.
