GREECE AND TURKEY
DARDANELLES SCHEME FORTIFICATION NOT OPPOSED ATHENS, April 21 The newly-appointed Premier of Greece, General Metaxas, says his Government is informing Turkey that it is not opposed to the refortification of the Dardanelles. General Metaxas says the report that Rumania is opposed to the refortification is untrue. The Balkan Entente —Greece, Turkey, Rumania and Yugoslavia—is solid and cordial in its relations.
