BAY OF PLENTY EVENTS [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] OPOTIKI, Wednesday The 26th annual Bay of Plenty sheep dog trials were commenced yesterday at Waioeka, and will continue to-day and to-morrow. The judge is Mr. G. F. Powell. Yesterday s results were;— 4 . „ , Zig-zag Hunt.—G. 8. Mead's Rowdy, 40 points, 1; W. Hope's Noll, 871, 2; G. S. Mead's Buck, 31, 8; Roderick's Tenner, 80, 4.
