accused remanded Charged with stealing a suit of clothes valued at £2, the property of Raymond John Quinn, Clifford Douglas Keane, aged 22, appeared in the Police Court vesterday before Mr. IT. K. Hunt, S.M. Senior-Detective Hall said complainant had locked his room and hidden the key, but returned to find that a suit had been taken and a note left by accused asking complainant to meet him later. Accused knew where the key was hidden, took the suit and pawned it for £l. He had a bad list of previous convictions. ... i. j Accused was remanded until to-day for further inquiries.
