MISSING FLIERS
AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE SEARCH IN ROUGH COUNTRY SYDNEY, April 20 Hopes that the Air Force fliers, Flight-Lieutenant W. Hely and Lead-ing-Aircraftsmen Sherwood and Walkington, who have been missing in the Northern Territory since Monday last, will be found alive are now rapidly fading.
The search, however, continues over the uninhabited timber country in the vicinity of Newcastle Waters. Bushmen consider that the aeroplane could not land safely in this area.
