POSTAL FACILITIES
TAURANGA SOUTH COMPLAINT INADEQUACY ALLEGED [by telegraph OWN correspondent] TAURANGA, Monday The inadequacy of the present postal arrangements to serve the southern portion of the borough was discussed at a meeting of the executive of the Tauranga South Progress League. It was considered that the rapid development of this area had rendered the existing arrangements totally inadequate. It was decided to approach the postal authorities and the local member of Parliament with a view to the provision of a post and telegraph office and a public telephone booth at the corner of Eleventh Avenue.
