M oml ay There will he no lack of business for the consideration of the House of Representatives when it resumes tomorrow afternoon after the customary week-end recess. The House is at present engaged on the second reading debate on the Employment Promotion Bill, but it is exjiected that the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Bill will be reported back to-morrow afternoon by the Labour Bills Committee, which heard evidence on the measure from interested parties last. week. The Prime Minister, Mr. Savage, stated to-night that the House would proceed with the business on the order paper to-morrow afternoon, and that the debate oil the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Bill, one of the Government's major policy measures, would probably be inaugurated on Wednesday night. Another caucus of Government members will be held to-morrow morning when further items 311 the legislative programme will come up for consideration. The guaranteed price proposals have yet to be fully considered in caucus but it is not yet known whether they have assumed final shape.
