PLUNKET SOCIETY
PROGRESS AT PAPATOETOE Continued progress was reported at the annual meeting of the Papatoetoe branch of the Plunket Society, when a good attendance of members was welcomed. The report and balance-sheet, which showed the movement to be in a healthy and progressive position, were adopted. An interesting talk on the Truby King Junior League movement was given by Mrs. J. C. Allan, president of the Auckland Society. The following officers were elected: —Patrons, Mrs. W. W. Masscy and Dr. J. J. Valentine; president, Mrs. J. Kendall; vice-president, l)r. Plunket; secretary, Mrs. E. Bray; treasurer, Mrs. G. Hodge; committee, Mesdames Valentine, R. Ross, T. Richards, A. G. Grinter, G. Dvor, D. Wily, J. Jackwon, Plunkett, F. E. Carr, Barclay, P. VVyman, R. Parker-Hill, K. Thompson and E. Simm.
