BALCONY COLLAPSES
TWENTY PEOPLE INJURED ACCIDENT AT AUCTION SALE (Received April 8. 10.35 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 8 During an auction sale of furniture at the Macqu&rie View Hotel at Dubbo, 226 miles north-west of Sydney, this afternoon, a balcony on which about 40 men, women and children were standing collapsed into the street. A scene of groat confusion followed, and at the screams of the worfien and children townspeople hastened to the spot and extricated the 'injured, who numbered at least 20, and sent them to the local hospital.
