UNEMPLOYMENT REDUCED COAL MINES OUTSIDE TREND (Received April 8. 6.5 P.m.) British Wireless RT7GBY, April 7 All the administrative districts in Britain with the exception of South Wales sharo in the improvement in employment which is disclosed in the latest statistics of the Ministry of Labour. There has been some reduction in employment in the mines of South Wales and on some other coalfields, but better conditions in the manufacturing industries have improved the general position elsewhere.
